History and Ownership

1973 Heinz Matthiesen and Paul Riesterer take over the ownership of the company.
1974 A branch office for the automotive industry is established in Gothenburg.
1993 The ownership of the company is transferred to Christian Hähle and Kaj Riesterer. Christian Hähle is appointed CEO, succeding Paul Riesterer.
1998 The circle of owners of the company is expanded when Anders Ekeman and Peter Dörrheide come in as new shareholders.
2010 Kaj Riesterer leaves the company.
ESMA is run by its owners.
